Fab weekend at Lincoln. New caravan great, and towed well with van! I had girly head on on sat so was rubbish! William managed to overcome that and came 6th in jumping with a great run and time :-) . Lil managed a clr round 'Horay' and came 5th in 3-5 agility, with a slow start. Tig, I hav to be on top form if we are going to go clr! Sunday was better, Tig 2nd in jumping and first in agility :-D. Lil had good run, just going round one jump, but was very, very naughty im agility!! And Will had some great rounds with small mistakes which were my fault, but giving me every reason to believe we can make grd7 :-)

Spoke to the principal at Lake High School in Millbury, Ohio. He states there is nothing wrong with donkey basketball, the animals are in no way abused - denies this is exploitation. He mentioned their transport in a trailer as being humane! And "they get plenty of water during the game". He also said he has receive thousands of emails asking the game be cancelled, but was very obstinate on his going through with it. I asked if he had ever seen how they are treated off site, should they be IN a trailer at all, and if exploitation is a good example for children and he said "we will agree to disagree" and this will continue annually. It is obviously going to take place next year and we will have more time to organize and travel there for a peacful protest. PLEASE call today, if you can and tell them what you think - he did seem very agitated over the amount of correspondence received. THANK YOU and peace
DONKEY BASKETBALL UPDATE: Sadly, Lake High School in Millbury, Ohio refuses to cancel their ridiculous and cruel donkey basketball game slated for tomorrow evening. This despite even being contacted by PETA and a great many of you. PLEASE take a moment today, if you can, and call these people and let them know that animals are not to be exploited for entertainment, and that this is a terrible example they are setting for children regarding compassion and treatment of the vulnerable. Perhaps, they will think twice next year. There is simply not enough time to arrange and travel there for a protest - or I'd be leading the caravan. Thank you all!
